Re: Jesus is the way

This is what lodge chaplins should be telling the body of the hall .

Salvation is accomplished by the almighty power of the triune God. The Father chose a people, the Son died for them, the Holy Spirit makes Christ's death effective by bringing the elect to faith and repentance, thereby causing them to willingly obey the Gospel. The entire process (election, redemption, regeneration) is the work of God and is by grace alone. Thus God, not man, determines who will be the recipients of the gift of salvation.

Then the chaplin could lead them in a spirit filled bible study , dont you agree.........?

Re: Jesus is the way

Is it specatators only , or has the truth of the gospels done it's job , how can an organization that claims to be christian survive without Christ Jesus at the helm . †

Re: Jesus is the way

i agree 100% Soninme!!! Without Christ our order is nothing! But sadly not alot of brethren are willing to stand up for Jesus anymore because they find it boring unless they have a carnival to watch. Anyone who does stand is threatened with expulsion so what does that not say about our order?

Re: Jesus is the way

Agree as well.   I just spoke with my WM about scheduling 30 minute Bible study after our meetings, and we're going to push for this at our next meeting.
